Have you ever felt that you’re not satisfied with the undergarments you’re buying?

Some are too small, some are too tight, and the others are plain uncomfortable.

Now that you have everything you need, here are the steps to create your DIY undergarments.

Directions:

Step 1:

Make sure that your working table and your plastic are clean. Begin by cutting the edges of the plastic bag. Then, put your undergarment and fold the other half of the plastic bag.

Step 2:

Carefully put the pins to hold your plastic and undergarment together.

Step 3:

Cut the outline of your undergarment but make sure to add 1 cm to each side. You will use this later. Don’t rush.

Step 4:

Once done, proceed in marking where the extra fabric for the crotch would go.

Step 5:

Get your desired type of cloth and pin your plastic pattern. Once that is secured, you can slowly cut the fabric. Do the same for the crotch part.

Step 6:

Pin the piece of fabric on the crotch area, folding the edges. You can now proceed in sewing this part.

Step 7:

Iron the fabric to remove the crease.

Step 8:

Get your lace elastic and pin them into the fabric. In this design, the lace elastics also go on the sides of the undergarment. Sew in place and finish with zigzag stitches.

Step 9:

Sew the side part of the undergarment. Once that is done, pin the lace elastics on the top part of the undergarment.

Step 10:

When stitching the top part, make sure you pull the elastics as you sew. Secure all sides with the zigzag stitches.
