It’s quite easy to assume though that they can be kind of high-maintenance especially during winter season.

You surely have many ways to prepare them for this breezy and cold season. Of course, just like any other vehicles, the goal is to protect them and store them the best way possible especially if you’re not going to use them for a long time.

To make sure that you’ll be able to enjoy the offseason, it’s a must to make sure that your expensive investments are safe.

With these vehicles, you’ll have to keep them properly covered. Making sure that the plumbing system won’t freeze is also something that you should keep in mind. It’s because frozen pipes could lead to serious damage. RV antifreeze would help a lot.

The exterior components of your RV or camper must be dreadfully checked too. This includes the tires, roof, pipes, and many more.

This whole thing sounds expensive, doesn’t it? Well, we couldn’t deny that fact.

Good thing, there’s this hack that isn’t costly at all.

As you won’t be able to use your RV or camper for quite some time, it’s susceptible to pests. And we don’t want pests, right? Yikes!

I’m sure you’ve already heard about using insect repellent, mothballs, or traps but this hack is a lot simpler and easier to find. Might as well use this one that we’re about to tell you because you surely love the smell of it.

You just need Irish Spring soaps!

Yup, we are pretty serious. According to Homemaking, you’ll just need to “place a bar or two of Irish Spring soap in your trailer”.

You are surely familiar with the smell of this soap brand. Its scent is really good but it’s powerful enough to keep the destructive insects away. It’s also better if you will shred them using a cheese grater.

It won’t cost you over $20 and I could say that it’s a brilliant hack.

You might find it a bit difficult to grate the soap bar at first but here’s how you can soften it.

Just put it in a warm window and leave it there for a few minutes. After that, you can freely grate the soap just like how you do it with cheese.

If you’re like me who find this hack really useful, you can also do it even when it’s not winter season. Just put it any at any part of your home that you think is prone to pests.

On the other hand, just don’t forget to prepare everything before the winter so you could enjoy it. Cherish the cozy weather with the people you love.

It’s just amazing how a well-known soap can do lots of things aside from keeping us fresh and clean. No wonder why it’s a very famous brand and many people are using it.
