If you’ve been a parent before, chances are that you have more crayons lying around your house than you know what to do with. Besides being a great tool to keep your children occupied, however, did you know that you can transform crayons into something both beautiful and functional?
Peter Brown is a well known YouTuber that is best known for creating wacky DIY projects using unique materials. In this particular project, Peter Brown decided to melt crayons to create a rainbow crayon bud vase. Not sure what that looks like? Trust me, I had no clue either…
In the following video, you’ll watch Peter as he goes through his process of creating a rainbow crayon bud vase. He first starts by getting 256 crayons and melting it into a large rainbow block. Next, he uses a wood lathe to shape the large rainbow wax block into a vase. The final product? A beautiful crayon bud vase that required absolutely no glue or fasteners. I’m amazed a box of crayons could make such a thing! If you want to see it for yourself, check out the video below.
