Small doesn’t mean “not glam”.

LeShaun is best known for her appealing voice and rather risqué lyrics.

She is considered by some to be one of the first women in the industry to create these kinds of songs.

She debuted in 1988 and has released various songs and collaborations with other artists.

One of her most notable collaborations was with LL Cool J on the track “Doin’ It”. Now, she’s in Las Vegas sharing how she downsized her lifestyle.

Downsizing in style

She shared with the YouTube channel Tiny House Giant Journey that her vision for a tiny house came in earlier in her career.

LeShaun recalled that during her collaboration with LL Cool J, she found herself traveling a lot in tour buses.

Then, when her daughter asked for her help during her pregnancy, LeShaun moved to a large 2,700-square-foot house.

After her daughter moved out, however, the house became too big for her to keep.

She also wanted to reduce her carbon footprint as she was also a self-confessed tree-hugger.

LeShaun downsized to a 24 feet rig.

Jewel, as she fondly calls it, is a product of her “blood, sweat, and tear” as her personalized style and input are used in the design and layout of her tiny home.

Jewel doesn’t play around.

She pops out from the RV Park with her elegant wood finish and mini garden. Even if it’s an RV home, it didn’t stop LeShaun from creating an outdoor space.

She has patches of turf with lounge chairs to sit back and relax. Do you want some entertainment to go with that?

There’s a TV. Do you want some snacks and refreshments? You can whip up some quick hearty meals with her electric oven, stove, and griddle.

Did we mention a fridge? Yes, she has that one too!

She also reused the generator rack in front of her rig. In the old generator’s place, she placed pots of plants to make the place livelier.

Think that isn’t glam enough?

Step inside.

The very first thing that you’ll notice is her velvet love chair. It’s her dining booth with matching velvet ottomans with removable tops so you can store stuff in.

To make the place fresh and spacious, she also used some ghost chairs.

She revamped the kitchen and took out the hanging convection microwave. She replaced it with a shallow IKEA cupboard to make more headroom.

Talk about minimalist and glam!

She took apart her bathroom except for the shower tray. She replaced the sink with an upcycled tree disc which definitely gave the room a luxurious vibe.

Efficiency meets beauty

To make use of the space efficiently, she combined her office and bedroom. She used a kid’s closet as storage which fit perfectly into the RV.

Even with the space, she still has enough room for a hi-lo table so she can work ergonomically standing or sitting down.

LeShaun doesn’t skimp when it comes to decorations. Have you ever seen a tiny house with a chandelier? Now, you have.

It’s only one of the things that makes Jewel very much LeShaun.
