Each one of us has dreams that we want to achieve.
Can you imagine what you’ll feel once you’ve accomplished your long-held dream? It will surely be one of the happiest moments in your life.
Redirection
But let’s face it, reaching your dreams doesn’t mean that you’ve already reached the finish line. It doesn’t guarantee you’ll never face adversity or rejection again.
While these challenges may appear to be destroying what you have already accomplished, they could also mean a redirection to something even better.
Meet Jen.
She was already living a life that many people would want to have. As she described it, she was living the “American dream.”
She was married with two kids, and they were living in a huge house.
But her life changed drastically.
It was difficult at first as she was divorced. She also realized that a big house would be difficult to afford on a single income.
That’s when she decided to downsize and live in a tiny home.
Little did she know that decision would lead her to have the nicest tiny home.
It was not an easy path to take.
Jen had the unfortunate experience of hiring the wrong builder. Thankfully, she found MitchCraft Tiny Homes, which helped her with practically every aspect of building her tiny abode.
Jen and her children were delighted with the result of her home.
She was able to build it with $170,000.
According to her, it’s “perfect and worth it all.” And once you watch her house tour, you’ll surely agree with her.
She started giving a tour of her favorite part of the house.
It’s her stunning kitchen that has ample space to cook and eat. It also includes a lot of cabinets and storage.
What’s even cooler is during the day, she doesn’t have to turn on the lights as the windows do the work. It allows natural light into her kitchen, making it well-lit.
Wait, there’s more. This part of the house boasts a remote-controlled roof skylight as well. Jen referred to it as a “party trick.”
There’s also a table where she can eat and even work efficiently.
There is never too much storage in this house.
Clearly, Jen’s house was constructed wisely. Certain areas of it, such as the staircases, have been maximized as they also function as storage. It works as her pantry and gives space for her shoes.
This not-so-little house also features a lovely spa-like bathroom.
It looks so neat with its sink, mirror, and soaker tub. This is where she likewise does the laundry using her washer-dryer combo.
Jen has two loft beds in her home.
One is for her, and the other one is for her daughter. She first gave a tour of her room with a king-size bed.
Despite having a large bed, she was able to fit several cubbies and cabinets. And just like her kitchen, it also has a skylight roof where she does star gazing sometimes. How cool is that?
This house is stunning in every way.
Jen also shared a glimpse of her living room and her daughter’s room. They all look lovely, welcoming, and comfy.
And oh, she also showed one of her favorite spots at home, and that is her hanging chair.
Jen shared how happy she is with her life now.
While she experienced living the “American dream,” what she has right now is something that lets her live her life joyfully without having to worry about paying a mortgage.
Her story is indeed an inspiration and will make you realize that when something you desired doesn’t work out even when you already have it, you don’t need to fret.
Who knows? It could mean that you are bound for something better.
