The saying ‘never judge a book by its cover’ seems to apply to a lot of things, especially to these so-called container homes. As the name suggests, containers are being repurposed to live in, and the results are often quite impressive. This red storage container is a perfect example of that.

Tiny homes have been gaining a ton of popularity recently because they offer a ton of benefits, while also providing just enough room to live in.

This custom container home looks like a regular red storage container on the outside, but it’s what’s on the inside that counts.

Container homes aren’t only very affordable, they can also be transported from one spot to the other and allow people to literally live off the grid. The container features all the necessities that you could need.

When you step into the door, you’ll immediately see the nice and spacious kitchenette.

It’s equipped with all the essential kitchen tools, electric stove, full-sized oven, and even a large, American-sized refrigerator. In other words, this container kitchen doesn’t have any compromises!

There’s a small dining spot that can be repurposed as a bar, but either way, there’s room to eat at a separate table as well.

Of course, the space inside the container is still limited, so we’re dealing with an open kitchen. Directly next to it, you’ll find a couch and a television, and there’s also direct access to the bedroom.

Just like with the kitchenette, the bedroom is quite comfortable.

There’s not much room for anything else due to the double bed, but it’s a bedroom – so you don’t really need anything else. Luckily, you can put your clothes into built-in closets. A television is mounted to the wall so you can watch things while laying comfortably in bed.

On the opposite side of the bedroom, we have a bathroom.

You’ll find room for a washer and a drying machine stacked on top of each other in the bathroom, and a bit of space to hang up some towels and wet clothes as well.

Of course, a small toilet is here too and you can take a shower in the corner.

What makes this home so amazing is that everything fits wonderfully inside this single container, with no extensions or other parts.

In total, there is about 320 square foot of surface area. The container is 40 feet long and 8 feet wide and it’s truly astonishing how people were able to put so much into a limited space. The asking price for this particular container is fifty thousand dollars, but that price includes most of the electric furniture.

For example, the washer/dryer, electric stove, full-sized refrigerator, and the tankless water heater are all included. The container also comes with a number of built-in cabinets and the two mounted televisions are thrown in as a bonus as well.

Heating and ventilation isn’t a problem in this red container too, because everything just works as you’d expect from a regular home. And the best part? You can buy this home and literally have it shipped anywhere you want – that definitely adds a new dimension to the term ‘mobile home’!
