Flowers are essential in sprucing up your wedding decorations.

Others don’t mind whichever flowers are used for their aisle and centerpieces, but this is something that can catch people’s attention. Brides and other wedding planners emphasize flowers because it adds to the venue’s beauty (and photos, too).
If you’re planning for a winter wedding, you might find yourself with limited options.

Depending on where you are, most flowers don’t bloom during this time of the year. However, there is one (rather unpopular) option you can go for: Baby’s Breath.
Florists created this trend of submerging Baby’s Breath in a glass container.

Others place it inside tall, narrow glass tubes and place it along the aisle. It’s a great centerpiece idea, too. You can use containers of different sizes to make them more appealing. Add some white pebbles or stones at the bottom and a candle on top. Perfect!
One Redditor suggested taping the stem of Baby’s Breath at the bottom of the container.
Using a transparent or ‘magic’ tape can do the trick. That way, you’re sure that the stem will stay at the bottom and won’t float. That can be a bit dangerous when you place a candle on top.
This submerged flower arrangement has become a bride’s choice for winter weddings.
The color is perfect, and the tiny blooms of its petals give off the impression of snow. Plus, submerging it in water makes it look like a snow globe. Add some fairy lights to the side or bottom of the container, and it looks a lot like Christmas.
But of course, not all people love to use Baby’s Breath for their wedding décor.
It’s all in the preference. Some people don’t like the smell of this flower. Others find it too simple for a grand event such as a wedding. While some are concerned about the allergens, it brings especially to guests who have asthma or rhinitis.
However, gone are the days that most brides frown upon these sweet little things.

They may be simple, but when put together nicely, looks elegant and stylish. These are often used for rustic-themed or winter weddings. Others also use this for spring weddings because it goes well with most flowers.
Baby’s Breath is a flexible flower; plus, it is inexpensive.

It’s also easy to put them together. If you’re really on a tight budget, you can go for a DIY flower arrangement. They come in bunches, so it’s easier to put them together. You can just pull a stem or two as a start, then work through your preferred size.
It’s a bonus that Baby’s Breath can be used more than just as a décor.

Some use it as boutonnieres for the groom and groom’s men. Other brides use it as a flower crown or some accent for their hair accessories. At the same time, some go all out and use it as a bouquet.
What do you think? Do you think Baby’s Breath is something you would use for your winter wedding?
