Nowadays, people are becoming more and more concerned about how much of a carbon footprint they leave behind on this planet. It’s important to many people to leave the Earth behind in a better condition than which we found it. For many — a tiny home is the answer.

The Wohnwagon is only 269-square-feet, and it’s made from 100% natural and organic materials.

The Austrian-based company that designs and constructs the Wohnwagon is dedicated to making sure that each tiny mobile home is created for each individual. According to their website, “the company is dedicated to creating the ideal living situation for each individual, down to how the Wohnwagon will be used, where it will be placed, and how self-sufficient the unit needs to be.”

Let’s check out the mobile Wohnwagon that allows residents to live completely off the grid.

But just because you’re off the grid doesn’t mean you have to skimp on amenities. Let’s take a look inside.

The exterior of the Wohnwagon is made from local Austrian wood.

According to their website, “the outer cladding is realized with a larch facade. Larch wood naturally contains many resins and oils and is thus protected from the weather.” Each Wohnwagon has a few customizable options like an awning, wooden steps, and decorative plant hangers.

Once inside, the mobile tiny home is surprisingly spacious.

The interior boasts spruce cladding for the floors and the walls are insulated with sheep’s wool. Not only does it keep the wagon warm, but it’s also great for the environment too. “Thanks to its excellent insulating properties, sheep’s wool protects against cold and heat and ensures a healthy indoor climate. Sheep wool breaks down pollutants in the air and makes the natural room air to circulate,” Wohnwagon says.

The kitchen offers plenty of counter space and storage.

Have guests while dining? Don’t worry. There’s a hidden folding table near the bed for extra seating.
