Ready to get started? You’ll need the following materials:

  • 1000W single burner hot plate
  • cookery gear
  • small saucepan
  • grilling skillet
  • frying thermometer
  • rubber stopper and washer
  • azalea flower pot with bulb bowl for a top
  • Terra cotta feet

The first you’ll want to do is remove the handle from both the sauce pan and the grilling skillet. The base pot you have will be used to support the heating element and the chip container. Now, place your hot place inside the pot. You can use the hand hole of the pot as a guide for your power plug cable. The legs you have will prop the flower pot up so you can plug in the cable.

Then place the grill you just made above the pot. You’ll now need to drill a hole at the bottom of the pot so you can reach the temperature settings on the hot plate. Be sure to use a glass drill bit! After you’re done drilling a hole, you can now use a screwdriver if you ever want to adjust the temperature.
