Do you love beautiful things?
If you do, then you also know that some of the prettiest items are expensive. Sometimes, we just browse through magazines and daydream that somehow, someday, we would be able to own one for ourselves.
Do you often browse sophisticated and luxurious drawers that are not just found in magazines but are also Instagram-worthy?

Alnwick is getting millions of fans worldwide because of how she transforms pieces of old furniture, but things weren’t this successful before.
She used to work as a waitress, but due to the pandemic, her work was put on hold last 2021. It was tough for her, so who would have thought that now, she has her own furniture business?
Like most of us, Alnwick wanted to keep herself busy. One day, she found an old piece of furniture and bought it. Then gathered some old sanding materials and paint and tried to restore it.
When she saw the final look of her DIY project, she was so happy. It helped her so much. Not only did she enjoy it, but for her, it was therapeutic.
That was where her addiction to DIY restoration projects started.
Even after returning to work as a part-timer, she continued her projects. Soon, she made her first three sales where she earned a few pennies, and that’s where all of these began.
Last year, Alnwick posted a TikTok video that gained 3.5M views, and that clip will surely shock, inspire, and motivate you.
She was able to get two old bedside tables for $20 at a charity shop, and the first thing that Alnwick shared was how dirty they were.
Alnwick cleaned and sanded the top to reveal the still gorgeous raw wood. As for the other parts of the bedside tables, she filled in the old holes.
Once dried, she applied an all-in-one mineral paint in anchor color.
As for the drawers, she aimed for a sophisticated textured look. So she applied Mod Podge, then a textured wallpaper, and finished the over-all-look with the same all-in-one mineral paint.
She sealed the top part with clear wax and installed the hardware holes and handles.
Finally, the last part was spraying with a clear coat varnish, and that’s it!
The finished project looked like something out of a luxury magazine.
Every part of the bedside table was perfect! Who would have thought that they initially cost $20?
If you think this is already gorgeous, wait till you see her other projects. You’d also be addicted to watching her transform old and ordinary furniture pieces into luxury pieces of furniture.
Watch her clip, and can you guess how much this could cost now?
