YouTube channel Easy Crafts DIY may seem like your typical channel that features Dollar store finds and adorable projects, but that is where you are wrong.
This YouTube channel has more than 952K subscribers not because of adorable crafts but because of one woman. She spends her time creating shocking but impressive projects.
Can you guess what projects she builds?
She builds houses, shelters, pools, treehouses, and even an underground mansion.
This woman does everything by hand, with no help, no tools, and no architects.
Is this even possible?
Many people wouldn’t believe that a woman can do projects like the ones we have mentioned, but believe it or not, it’s possible.
Even before, people didn’t rely on tools, high-tech pieces of equipment, or even architects to build their homes.
Once you watch her videos, you’ll get hooked. So, let this serve as a warning.
They posted the video last December 2020, and her project was building a two-story bamboo hut and a pool, and she did everything by hand.
The video, which garnered almost 32M views, starts with the girl clearing her chosen location in the middle of the forest.
Then, she gets twigs and starts a fire to keep her warm as she starts her day. Using her jungle machete, she chooses the base materials for her bamboo hut.
She secures the foundation and uses vines as her rope.
In no time, she was able to build her two-story bamboo hut. Next, she gathers Anahaw leaves, dries them, and uses them as her roof.
She completes her tiny hut with a door and window.
The amazing girl then mesmerizes her viewers more as she builds her own bed from rattan and hammock from bamboo.
Her home looks cozy and she is seen resting with her companion, a small adorable monkey.
Now, everything looks complete, but this girl wasn’t done yet. She starts putting plants that made her small home prettier.
All that work sure is tiring, so she gathers some frogs and cooks them. Everything was already looking impressive, but she has more to show us.
She digs, and soon, we see her creating a pool!
No joke and definitely not an “easy” craft, but it sure is entertaining. Using mud, she was able to smoothen the surface of the pool, then proceeded to make a DIY paint from plants and tree resin.
After that, she finishes the pool by gathering water and filling up her swimming pool.
She then cooks some cassava and shares it with her monkey friends. She ends the day by enjoying her pool.
Finally, she creates a small lamp and enters her hut. She closes it and rests on her bed, ready to sleep after a hard day’s work.
We may not be able to apply the things that we’ve watched, but it sure is entertaining and informative.
It’s nice to know that it’s possible to create such crafts using hands and skills.
Even today, in some areas, people still build huts like this and it’s much more common than you think.
