This tiny home vacation rental gives you more than a homey feeling.
It is situated along the coast of Hawke’s Bay, giving you the best scenes. You can see the beach along the horizon on one side and the lush greens of trees on the other. It offers a completely relaxing getaway.
Gill, the owner of this beautiful Airbnb, was thinking of a way to earn during her retirement.
She built this tiny home rental to share the beauty of the place with others. It was also her way of enticing others to consider living in a tiny house.
You will notice how Gill made sure the outside space was utilized.
She considered her home to be an “inside-outside living” because guests have the option to relax and unwind inside or outside. There are chairs and tables outside to enjoy the view over a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
The moment you step in, you’ll instantly see the brilliant colors of her home.
The couch looks fantastic with its bright colors that would capture your attention right away. The walls have beautiful yet subtle paintings and other artworks that added life to her home.
It is also commendable how she has a full kitchen despite having a relatively smaller space.
You can see how well she utilized the space between appliances. She has a stove, refrigerator, and even a dishwasher. The countertop looks immaculate with that clean, black finish and has enough room for a breakfast bar.
One thing we love about this house is its bathroom.
As you can see, it has a minimal space compared to the other rooms in the house, but it has everything you could ask for in a bathroom. There’s a full shower, sink, toilet, and washer! Plus, a towel rack and a rod for hanging.
There are two loft bedrooms in this tiny home.
One of them is the main bedroom, which also includes a small closet and drawer with enough space to keep some clothing. It has a double bed which is perfect, and has ample space for two. But what’s astounding in this bedroom is the view outside the window, which is so majestic, whether it’s the sunrise during the day or the stars in the night sky.
The other side is considered a reading area but could also sleep two persons.
It has two foldable mattresses that guests can sleep on or sit and read a good book. There’s also a reading light beside each bed. It also has a window that features a stunning view from the outside.
One notable feature of this tiny house is the shutters on both loft spaces.
It closes off the rooms to give a more enclosed feeling. It can minimize both the light and sound from below and adds a sense of privacy for the occupants.
Another unique feature of this tiny home is its staircase.
You can unlock it from its latch and push it aside when not in use. There are extra chairs underneath if you want to have friends over, or you can stow away your luggage there.
