Do you have a window in your home that should be frosted or just isn’t fit for curtains?
If you’re looking for some more privacy but don’t want one sacrifice natural light, you can create a privacy window screen using some lace and decoupage.
Here’s how!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Lace
- Fabric Scissors
- Measuring Tape
- Decoupage or water and cornstarch paste
- Paint brush
Instructions:
Step 1.) Measure your window then cut your lace to fit the window.
Step 2.) Paint your window with decoupage or your water/cornstarch paste.
To make the paste add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 1/4 cup of water, then add your mix to 2 cup of boiling water.
You may need to add in some more cornstarch as you go to get a glue-like consistency.
Step 3.) Place your lace on your window
Step 4.) Paint a layer of decoupage or paste over the lace
Step 5.) Let dry and you’re done!
