15 Ways to Repurpose Chairs

You can create some amazing focal pieces and expensive-looking furniture in your home with some old chairs. People sell their repurposed chair projects for hundreds of dollars and you can make them yourself at home just as easily.

You’ll need an old chair, even broken ones will do, which you can find in your basement or at a garage sale. That, a few other pieces, and some creativity.

Here are 15 brilliant ideas for repurposing your chairs:

1) Rustic Picture Holder

You can use the back of a chair and attach a hanger head to it along with some clothespins to create a rustic looking picture holder.

2) Customized Pet Bed

Pet beds can get pretty pricey, but not if you make one from scratch. All you need is to chop off the legs of a chair, paint it, cover an old pillow with some fabric to make the cushion and you’re done! You’ll find the tutorial on how to make on here.

3) Kitty Litter Changing Station

Modify a chair back with a chalkboard sticker, some hooks, and a rod to hold litter bags to create this adorable kitty litter changing station.

You can make a super cute flowerpot holder by using some hose clamps and screws to attach the pots to your chair back.
