It was April 2015 when Mimi’s husband told Mimi that it was finally time to cut down a dead tree that had been souring the backyard for quite some time. Mimi, however, resisted, “I always have a project I want to try… Plus, I’m known for making simple tasks complex.” Mimi didn’t want to just get rid of the dead tree. She knew with her creativity, she could create something incredibly special.
So Mimi got to work and flexed her artistic muscles. She first cut down the dead tree all the way down to a stump with the help of her husband. Then, she headed to her local Lowe’s, Walgreens, and dollar store for supplies. She also went around and tried to find as much scrap wood and leftover materials she could find. Mimi was now ready to build her masterpiece.
Several weeks later, Mimi is now ready to show off her latest DIY project. And let me tell you, it blew me away. I don’t want to give away too much, but her creation, named The Gnome House, is a testament that with creativity and dedication, you can transform the ordinary, into the extraordinary.
