Willem Van Cotthem is a creative man who came up with a highly effective and sustainable idea that can help any household. Using large plastic bottles, Willem built a garden in his yard that is environmentally friendly. More importantly, it’s simple and cheap!

With an empty fence, Willem and his team began stacking old plastic bottles along the edge of the fence. While doing this, they also planted seeds every few bottles.

Within a year, the plants start to grow and blossom. Pretty soon, the entire fence is transformed into a lush garden full of vegetables and herbs. Willem claims that his “bottle tower garden” can be modified to accommodate any family’s needs. For larger families, they can use more bottles and grow more food. In fact, this idea can even help feed an entire village!

Willem’s invention works in both rural and urban areas, and it’s especially useful in areas where you don’t have much space for a garden.
