Rather than recycle old cereal boxes, try out these clever ideas instead. Cereal boxes are made out of cardboard, which can be very resourceful when used properly. You can repurpose cereal boxes to be used as organization boxes, seed starts, and even notebooks.

Storage Organizer
Cereal boxes are the perfect shape to be used as a storage organizer. You can apply bright strips of washi tape to them to give them the look you want. For a tutorial on how to make one, click here.

Throw Away Your Lint With Fashion
Rather than use an ugly, out-of-place trash bag to collect lint from your drying clothes, create a stylish solution using a cereal box instead. Remove the top flaps from a large cereal box, and then spray paint the box any color you want. Next, use command strips on the back of clothespins to keep the box clipped to a wall.

Plastic Lid Holder
If you own a bunch of tupperware or other plastic containers, then there’s a good chance you have a lot of random lids scattered throughout the kitchen. Cut a cereal box to create a nice storage location for them.

Mini Pocket Notebooks
Mini notebooks are incredibly cute and useful. They fit perfectly in your purse so you can take them wherever you’d like. More importantly, they are easy to make and can be made using an old cereal box. All you need is a cute button, decorative paper to cover the spine, and a string floss.
