It took one life-changing event for Allen to consider living in a tiny home.

Divorce made him realize that he wanted less stuff inside his home.

Plus, the economic situation pushed him to sell his house and look for a more practical means of living.

Allen decided to build his tiny home.

He started by building one independently while looking for ways to save time and money.

Allen knew someone with an empty warehouse, so he asked permission to start building his tiny house there.

Every week, he takes his weekly pay, buys materials for his home, and spends the weekend making it.

After almost three years, Allen finally has a house to call his own.

His tiny home sits in a trailer park with septic, water, and electric systems, so he had nothing to worry about his utilities.

It’s a bonus that he had a spacious outdoor space, so he created this beautiful patio with tables and chairs so he could have guests over and enjoy some barbecue and grill.

The living room is the first thing that welcomes you when you enter his home.

It has a 2-seater couch facing a wide television where he also built a little nook or shelf to place all the entertainment components.

Underneath the television is a folding table where he and his guests can share a meal.

Allen’s kitchen looks incredibly spacious for a tiny house.

He got an RV stove with an oven that works best for his meals. His sink is deep enough to wash pots, pans, and other bulky items.

His full-sized refrigerator sits on top of the wheel well, raising it and making reaching for his fresh produce shelf easier.

Allen also used his open space to store his knives, keep his plates, hang his utensils, and even the pots and pans.

His bathroom also looks bigger than you could imagine.

He used the space in the hallway to create space between the sink, toilet, and bath.

He opted for the ordinary tank toilet since he already has a septic system.

Allen created a staircase instead of using a leader to go up the loft bedroom.

He opted for this one so it would be easier to go upstairs.

While others would find this less space-saving, he utilized every space underneath it for more storage and even placed a washer-dryer underneath.

His loft bedroom has enough space and headroom for him to sit up.

But the one thing that makes all the difference in this room is all that ventilation and natural light.

Allen built as many windows as possible to serve those two purposes.

Plus, he has a cat who enjoys looking out his “domain” so much.

Lastly, Allen has an extra room which could be anything that he wants it to be.

He uses it as his office, where he has his computer and other gaming gadgets.

However, when he has a visitor, he places a mattress there so his guest has room to sleep in.

He also plans to make it his bedroom in the future so he won’t need to climb up the loft.
