Instead of using a typical frame to display pictures, create something unique and customized. Make your own cement photo holders! This tutorial requires minimal supplies, minimal time, and minimal steps, yet it yields amazing results. Use them around your house, or give them away as gifts! You’ll probably have most (if not all) of the supplies, so try this out today!
You Will Need
- silicone molds
- vegetable oil
- cement
- water
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- magnetic disks
Getting Started
Find silicone molds (typically the ones you would use for baking) and brush the molds with vegetable oil. This will prevent the cement from getting stuck.
Create a mixture of cement. Gradually add water to the cement until it is a peanut butter consistency.
Fill out the molds and leave them to dry for 24 hours.
After 24 hours, glue a magnetic disk to each block. You can mix and match the blocks; it’s all up to you!
Just like that, you are done!
Although his tutorial is extremely simple, your friends will never guess you made these yourself! Please SHARE this fun and easy tutorial with your friends and family.
