4. Next, add layer 3. Make sure to do this in the opposite direction to allow the blocks to slide through the holes.
5. Layer 4 will serve as your backrest. They need to be bonded upright.

6. Then, slide the 4x4s through the holes in the cinder blocks.

To finalize, check the distance of the posts sticking outside the blocks. Make sure that they are equal. Once you’re done with that, you can start adding the cushions and pillows.

One of the viewers shared:

“I did 2 benches with arm rests for my firepit area. They cost 41.00 each. You won’t find good outdoor furniture for that price that will last like these will.”

By now, you’re probably thinking: Why do I need to make a cinder bench at home?

These days, most of us are not allowed to leave our homes. However, that doesn’t mean that there’s no way for us to enjoy the outdoors. If you have extra space in your backyard, use it.

The fresh air you’ll get is good for your body. Being close to nature can help ease stress and make you feel calmer, too. And if you are working from home, you’ll find working outdoor a great boost in your productivity and focus.

Additionally, good outdoor furniture can also improve your home’s appearance. The things you spread in your yard are the first things people see when they get inside your property. That’s a good reason to make a nice piece and create a good impression.
