An easy way to decorate your house without taking up a lot of space is by creating shelves. They can elevate the look of your house to a whole new level! All you need are boards and a few tools. Follow this tutorial to learn how to create easy corner shelves at home!
You Will Need:
- ribbed plastic anchors
- screws
- mending plates
- corner braces
- at least 2 boards (14 inch and 17.5 inch)
Getting Started:
First create 4 holes that are leveled. Since this tutorial is for corner shelves, create 2 holes on each wall. Make sure they are measured out so that your boards will fit.
Insert the ribbed plastic anchors into the walls first. This will add extra strength to your shelves. Next, screw the corner braces into the plastic anchors.
Moving onto the boards: Attach the boards together by using the mending plates. The shorter board should be attached to the long side of the longer board. 
Put your shelves on the corner braces and screw them in. It’s that simple! 
These shelves may not be able to hold very heavy items, so be wary! They work great for decorative purposed though!
