How To Make Your Own Toilet Bowl Cleaner At Home

If there’s one thing that’s hard to keep clean around the house, it’s the toilet. On my list of chores that I like to do, it’s honestly the last thing. Why? It’s time consuming, dirty, and uses a lot of toxic chemicals. What if I told you, however, there was a way to clean your toilet in using less time and natural ingredients. Is that something you might be interested in?

Well if you’re ready to leave your bathroom smelling splendid, then gather the following ingredients and let’s get started:

  • around 160 grams of baking soda
  • around 60mL of lemon juice
  • 1/2 Tablespoon of vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide
  • 15-20 drops of a fragrant oil of your choice
  • baking sheet
  • measuring spoons
  • jar (for storage)
  • 2 bowls of parchment paper

Mix together the baking soda and lemon juice inside a bowl. In another bowl, mix hydrogen peroxide and vinegar, then add it to your first mixture. The combined solution should look like wet snow.

Now you can add any fragrant oil you want. After doing so, make rounded spoonfuls of your solution and place them on a baking sheet. Wait around 4 hours for the solution to dry.

After they’ve dried, put them inside a jar for storage and whenever needed, drop one of these toilet “fizzies” into the toilet in order to clean your toilet and leave it feeling fresh!
