In Rockbridge, Ohio, you’ll find a newly built Airbnb that will surely catch anyone’s attention.
The new Airbnb is a 1500 sq. ft. house called “The Cave.”
As the name suggests, it’s a cave transformed into a house, and everything that you’ll see here is a masterpiece!
Greeting you from the outside would be the gigantic rock formation with trees sprouting from the cave house.
You’ll see the all-glass front part of the house and a huge patio and fireplace if you want to spend the evening outside.
On the other side is a hot tub, perfect to be enjoyed with the beautiful view of the forest. Alongside the tub is a charger for electric cars.
As you enter this unique home, you’ll be in awe as you see the exposed cave found in the ceiling and back walls.
You’d also notice the dark academia theme with all the stunning gothic arches.
In the living room, the first thing that you will notice is the wall of books made from walnut.
The host of the home tour, Levi, took the time to count each book on the shelves, which are color-coded.
There are 534 books that you could enjoy. Also, in the middle part of the shelf is a framed television.
You’d surely feel relaxed with the big and cozy leather couches, fireplace, and stunning windows.
Moving on to the kitchen, the beautiful dark island would greet you, along with its textured sink.
You’d also appreciate the purple tiles and the dark tones that complement each other.
Then, there’s the customized dining table and chairs that match the overall theme.
What we also love is that you can open the window panel so you have the option to enjoy the view.
There are three total chandeliers in the house, one in the kitchen, dining area, and one in the recreational area.
In the recreational area, you’ll find the pool table, chess table, and astonishing rock wall.
Then, hidden behind the cabinets are the washer and drier.
This amazing home houses solar panels as well, which take care of half of the energy required for the home.
They heated all the floors, and they installed four dehumidifiers.
There are two rooms inside the cave house.
On the left side is the blue room which has a big bed, a private bath, and a luxurious white tub surrounded with rocks.
The other room, which you can find on the side of the dining area is darker but bigger.
They cover its walls with maroon velvet walls.
Aside from the big bed, there are also two bunk beds you can use.
There’s also a walnut ladder.
However, this room doesn’t have a tub, but the bathroom is spacious.
Outside, then you want to stroll, you’ll love the trail on both sides of the cave house.
