Debbie Winters of Panama City, Florida, had a choice. She could either demolish the 18 year old rundown shed in her backyard, or try to turn it into something useful. On one hand, the rundown shed had become a huge eyesore in her backyard and there would be significant work required to make something out of it. On the other hand, Debbie didn’t want to back down from a DIY challenge.
So with an idea in mind, Debbie decided to spend 62 days transforming the shed into something spectacular…
Debbie’s 18 year old shed was sitting in her backyard and was a huge eyesore.
So Debbie and her husband decided to use their DIY skills in order to try and transform their shed into a beautiful cottage!
For the interior, Debbie decided to go with French country chic. Just look at those beauitful blue and white patterns throughout the decor.
Using an antique bed from Debbie’s mother, Debbie created a bedroom that would make any antique lover jealous.
The closet behind the sofa was custom built by Debbie’s husband.
Debbie even took a door and an old table to create this beautiful, yet functional desk.
The kitchen cabinets were repurposed from an old bathroom vanity.
Where did Debbie find most of her old furniture? At garage sales and on Craigslist.
Doesn’t the “shed” look incredible now?
