We do not doubt that she can buy a newer and more luxurious house, but she is especially in love with the house where she grew up. Its sentimental value is definitely priceless.

Susan Boyle rose into fame back in 2009, when she sang “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables in Britain’s Got Talent. Since then, this star has sold over 25 million copies of her albums, traveled the world with her concert tours, and even had two Grammy nominations!

Anyone would think that Susan would want a bigger place to settle in considering she has all the money to buy one that has a lot more room and space for her to bask in. But, staying true to her humble self, Susan decided to return to her childhood home and remodel it.

And while it’s already gorgeous now, she shares that she is planning to do more renovation aimed at making it an even more comfy, cozy, and lovely home.

When asked why she decided to buy and renovate her childhood home, Susan shares these words in an interview with the Sunday Post:

“Some people seem surprised that I choose to stay in my family home. Why shouldn’t I? I feel Mum is still here and there are so many good memories … I’ve spent most of my life in this house and I won’t move now, because I feel it’s part of my new history.”
