So many women focus on others while forgetting about themselves. Whether due to raising kids, taking care of a sick family member, working full-time, or going to school, there just aren’t enough hours in the day for self-pampering. That’s the story of one woman who felt as though she’d lost her identity.
Jovial on the outside
This woman had a big smile on her face but she admitted that she didn’t feel anything like her old self on the inside. She finally reached the point where she wanted a change. And to recapture herself, she knew exactly what to do.
The one and only
When it comes to makeovers, women from around the country flock to Christopher Hopkins’ salon. For years, this man has transformed women to the point where they look and feel completely different. So, she made an appointment to change her looks.
Funny conversation
Although Hopkins does many makeovers, hers, in particular, caught the attention of a lot of people. The results were so dramatic that no one could believe it was the same person. But she wanted to make sure he was ready so one of the first questions she asks Hopkins is if he had a good night’s sleep. He confirmed he did.
No drinking
She then went on to ask if he had anything to drink the night before. While Hopkins said no, he staged he does his best work after having a cocktail. Of course, he was just having some fun with this client.
“What a pretty face”
Those were the next words that came out of Hopkins’ mouth. To that, the woman said she used to look adorable. But he wasn’t having it. Hopkins reminded her that she’s still adorable. You can even hear his makeup artist compliment the woman on her beautiful eyelashes.
Dirty blonde to white
The woman’s natural hair color is a dirty blonde but she was interested in going white. Hopkins wasn’t against the idea. She went on to say that while going white was her first choice, she also didn’t want to walk by a mirror only to be shocked by her appearance.
Some reservation
Hopkins told her that white would be pretty on her. But considering her outgoing and bubbly personality, that wasn’t the color he envisioned. He also felt she looked too young to have white hair. So, Hopkins went with a reddish color.
Makeup time
As part of the makeover process, women have their makeup done by a professional artist. Not only does the expert make them look glam but they also walk the client through each step of the application process so they can recreate the look at home. This woman was loving every second of the experience.
The big reveal
After hours of pampering, it was time for Hopkins’ and his team to show the woman her transformed appearance. Let’s just say wow. She looks fabulous and nothing like she did when she first arrived at the salon.
She can’t stop smiling
Her once drab look is now hip and exciting. The short do with the reddish color is a much better fit for her personality than the white hair that she wanted. When looking at her after the process, the first thing you notice is her stunning eyes.
Now, not only does the woman feel great on the outside but also on the inside. When talking about her day, she said it was more than she could’ve ever hoped for. Once again, Hopkins did what he does best…a makeover.
