Denetra lives with her Dachshund, Molly-Sue, and calls her tiny home BB or Bethany Blue.

She currently resides in Acony Bell Tiny Homes, in North Carolina.

What made Denetra decide to move from a three-level townhome in Vegas to a tiny home in North Carolina?

According to her, she used to have a beautiful townhome in Vegas, which she rents.

When the pandemic started, that was when everything changed.

Even before the pandemic, she already wanted to live in a tiny home but had inhibitions.

Moving from a big home to a tiny one left her unsure of where to start.

Because of the pandemic, she left the city and started living in a trailer

Then, Denetra realized that if she could live in a trailer, then a tiny home would also be a great choice.

She decided to research tiny homes and found the perfect one.

BB or Bethany Blue is an 8×26 Tumbleweed tiny home.

The model type is called Cypress Equator, and it sits on the corner lot by the creek.

It’s a quiet place that is near some good hiking trails.

It’s a 272 square feet tiny house that she describes as the “perfect little set up for her.”

Once you enter her tiny home, you’ll see an Ikea drop-down storage for her shoes on the right.

On the top of the shoe shelf is a bowl where she puts her keys and chapstick.

She also has two baskets where she puts on her boots and some hooks for her jackets.

On the left side, she has a nook area.

There is a customized drawer that doubles as an ottoman.

On the top is her storage loft that houses 5 beautiful rattan baskets.

There, she stores her off-season stuff.

As you move forward, you’ll see a fold-down table that serves as her dining and work area.

In her kitchen, you’d love how many storage spaces she has.

Because Denetra loves to cook, her kitchen is a bit bigger and there, you’ll see a 3-burner gas stove propane with oven.

She also has kitchen drawers for her utensils and a small pantry area.

Denetra aimed for a kitchen that is accessible, organized, and functional.

On the opposite side of her kitchen are pull-out cabinets, a washer and dryer in one, and a full-size fridge.

She also has a space for her toaster, air fryer, insta-pot, food processor, and juicer,

On the left side is her closet where she puts her solar generator, big water heater, and a flat iron.

For her bathroom, she proudly said that she has a flushable toilet since compost toilets didn’t work for her.

She has a beautiful wooden shelf with baskets where she puts all her toiletries and a small sink.

In the back room is her office, where she spends most of her time.

Lastly, the sleeping loft looked so cozy, with a big bed and enough space for her to sit down and read.

Denetra pays $625 a month for staying in this peaceful and beautiful community that is close to the city.

Overall, she spent 98k for the entire tiny home, which she plans to pay in 5 to 7 years.

Choosing this tiny home has given her financial freedom, peace, and happiness.
