As women age, many begin to think more about their appearance. They’re not young anymore so perhaps, it’s time for a change. For whatever reason, this is something that a lot of blonde-haired women struggle with. Instead of letting their hair turn gray naturally, they continually have color added, which isn’t always attractive. Yet it’s so hard to let go of what’s familiar.
Sandy Miller
That’s where Sandy was in life. Now in her mid-50s, she fought to keep her hair blonde. While it wasn’t a bad color and the style was okay, overall, her hair wasn’t doing much to enhance her beauty. She desperately needed a new look.
Christopher Hopkins to the rescue
Living in Illinois about five hours away from Christopher Hopkin’s salon, Sandy knew he was the person that she could trust to change her appearance. You see, this man is also known as “The Makeover Guy.” He posts videos online that show dramatic transformations. And his work is always impeccable.
Makeup consultation
At the start of the video, one of Christopher’s staff members teaches Sandy about makeup. Especially as women grow older, they make the mistake of applying makeup the same way they always have. But due to changes in the skin, that no longer works. So, it was time for Sandy to learn some new tricks.
Meeting the man himself
Then came the most exciting part of her journey. Sandy had the chance to sit down with Christopher to discuss options for her makeover. He assessed her hair and determined the color gray would be really pretty on her. With her skin tone, he felt it was the right move and who’s going to argue with The Makeover Guy?
Beyond excited
While talking to the person taking the video, Sandy said she was beyond excited to be there. Feeling 100 percent confident in Christopher’s ability, she knew this makeover would change her entire life. And she was right. Like all his other clients, he worked his magic on Sandy.
Changing color
With Christopher at work, the first step was to get rid of Sandy’s original blonde hair. So, he changed it to gray. Initially, she wasn’t sure but her hair hadn’t been styled yet. So, after another brief discussion, he continued with the makeover process.
Starting to take shape
With some magic work of the scissors, Christopher creates the shape for Sandy’s new look. Things are beginning to look up. With that done and her hair freshly washed, he starts to blow dry it so he can give her a look that’s beautiful yet easy to manage at home.
The old Sandy
Before having her hair and makeup done, Sandy didn’t stand out. In fact, the color and style of her hair made her appear tired and worn down. But Christopher knew there was an entirely different woman underneath and what he did to reveal it was amazing.
The new Sandy
With both hair and makeup complete, it’s hard to believe this is the same person. What’s so surprising is that even with gray hair instead of blonde, Sandy looks much younger. She also looks fresh and vibrant. And the sassy look she wanted…Christopher achieved that as well.
Absolutely beautiful
Now, with short gray hair, Sandy looked like a new woman. The modified bob with long layers was a perfect fit for her outgoing personality. After seeing herself for the first time, her whole face lit up like a Christmas tree.
