College buddies and flipping duo Lincoln and Lauren bought this 1930s home and sold it for over a million dollars.
They bought this 1939 abandoned bungalow for $770,000 with a second bungalow at the back.
That one was already in pretty good shape, and they sold it for $430,000.
The main house, however, was in desperate need of a makeover.
The house had this charm outside, but the inside was their primary concern.
It was infested in raccoon feces, some walls had molds, and it smelled in the entire house.
The dividing walls on both floors made the house look small.
Lincoln and Lauren did their magic in the place and spent $520,000 total cost in remodeling, and the result was worth every penny of it.
The exterior looked more modern, and that extended porch was just beautiful.
They decided to destroy the walls inside the house to create a more open concept from the living room to the dining room and kitchen.
The living room looked clean and minimal.
The highlight of that room was the mantel around the fireplace, giving the look depth and character.
Nearby is the dining room, and it’s a perfect set-up for a dinner party.
That kitchen looked divine with its white-on-white look.
There were still black cabinets and brass handles, but it was strategically hidden with the counter’s overhang.
It was the perfect combination with the black hardware of the window and door frames.
And check out how much storage space there is!
They created two rooms that the future owner could turn into a home office or guest room.
The design of both rooms allowed for flexibility in case guests would sleep over, and it could easily be turned into a bedroom.
There’s also a full bathroom on the first floor for the guests.
Most of the bedrooms are on the second floor.
When you reach the top of the stairs, you can see how they carefully divided the entire floor into three bedrooms.
The spare bedrooms were not only spacious, but it has access to the back deck overlooking the garden.
Occupants of these bedrooms can use the shared bathroom down the hall.
The primary room looked absolutely stunning.
It gives off a laid-back vibe, with all the wicker accents and live plants at the sides.
It looks cozy and very much relaxing.
The primary bedroom also has its own bathroom, and they used that long, narrow space for the vanity that leads to the shower.
All the white and subtle black accents made the room look bright, spacious, and clean.
Lincoln and Lauren sold this house for $1,550,000!
It’s worth it. That lovely open concept of the first floor, especially that fabulous kitchen, was such a winner.
The extra rooms on the first floor were also a significant asset because the owner could turn them into whatever they wanted.
Another great selling point was the primary room and its adjacent bathroom.
The back deck was a sweet addition.
But the biggest bonus was the firepit in the garden, which makes it perfect for barbecue nights with family and friends.
