But what if you can have both at the same time?

A chocolate fudge brownie cake recipe is going viral online.

Well, it’s chocolate so that’s not surprising at all. Plus, it’s super easy to do and requires just a few ingredients.

Here’s what you’ll need to make the tasty cake:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 box of fudge brownie mix
  • 1 box of chocolate mix

For the ganache, you’ll need to prepare the following:

  • 12-ounce bag of chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream

You won’t need expert baking skills to make this brownie chocolate cake.

Take a look at the steps:

Like with most cake recipes, you need to preheat your oven. Set it to 350 degrees.

While waiting for the oven to get warm enough, get your Bundt pan and coat it with cooking oil. If you don’t have one, you can use butter.

Next, combine your brownie mix and chocolate mix into a bow. Add the eggs, oil, and water.

Mix everything until you get a homogenous texture. Make sure there are no lumps in the mixture.

You want your batter to be smooth and shiny. Having clumps in it can affect the appearance of your cake once it’s done.

Once you are satisfied with the texture of your batter, pour it into your Bundt pan.

Pour the batter slowly. There’s no need for you to rush this step.

Bake for around 50 to 50 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test.

Allow the cake to stay in the pan for another 5 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack. Once it’s on the rack, leave it for another 30 minutes.

Now, for the fun part.

While waiting for the cake to cool down, prepare your ganache. It’s easier than you think.

Here are the steps:

  1. Pour the heavy whipping cream into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat it for around 2 minutes.
  2. Pour the chocolate chips into the bowl.
  3. Wait for five minutes before whisking everything together.
  4. Continue whisking until you get a smooth mixture.

Once the cake is cool enough, pour your ganache over it and serve.

Don’t underestimate this cake for its simplicity.

Even if it requires just a few ingredients and it doesn’t require complicated baking skills, it’s one of the best-tasting brownie chocolate cake around.

The cake is firm but moist. Its spongy texture partnered with the melted chocolate makes it oh-so-good.

And the best part?

You can experiment with the recipe!

You can use different brownie and cake mixes. And if you’re not a fan of chocolate ganache, you can do a white or dark chocolate version. And if you’re preparing the cake for your kids, you can add sprinkles to make it look more fun. For sure, they won’t be able to stop themselves from eating the entire cake!

The bottom line is this: don’t limit yourself to what the recipe says. You can be as creative and fun as you want.
