Although a makeover won’t fix problems, it can give people the pick-me-up they need. Most women who go through a transformation say they feel like a new person, which makes it easier to move forward.
Meet Christopher Hopkins
If that name doesn’t sound familiar, perhaps The Makeover Guy does. Christopher has become a leading stylist, someone that celebrities and non-celebrities alike flock to when they want a new look. With a talented team, he transforms the way women look, which in turn, affects how they feel.
Julie McCoven’s turn
Julie, a 58-year-old woman from Liberty, Missouri, wanted to change her appearance. She had worked as a teacher for more than two decades. After retiring from the educational sector, she went on to work other careers, took care of her parents, and raised her children.
It’s her turn
With so much going on in her life, Julie had little time for herself. When she visited Christopher’s salon, her hair was a mousy blonde. And without any real style so to speak, she looked out of date and somewhat tired.
Christopher’s magic
With unrivaled skills, Christopher performs some pretty amazing makeovers. Sometimes, the changes are relatively subtle yet enough to make a notable improvement. Other times, as in Julie’s case, he goes to the extreme but in a positive way.
Her reaction is priceless
On Christopher’s YouTube channel, his clients give a before and after interview. Considering how remarkable his work is, everyone is beyond thrilled with the results. But as for Julie, her particular makeover was so drastic that the only words she could get out of her mouth were “holy cow.”
Who is she?
Instead of shoulder-length blonde hair, she now has short dark locks. With perfect layering and sweeping bangs, she looked stunning. Her new hairstyle combined with impeccable makeup made her unrecognizable. Seriously, when comparing the before and after photos, she doesn’t even look like the same individual.
Her opinion
Initially, it’s hard to tell if she likes it or hates it. All she can say over and over is “holy cow.” Well, we can tell you that she was thrilled. But now comes the real test as her husband enters the room. What will he think?
100 percent husband approved
He walks into the room with a huge grin on his face. As he looks at the new Julie, he says, “wow, you’re beautiful.” There’s no question that he’s impressed. He quickly makes his way to her, wrapping his arms around his transformed bride.
They both got what they wanted
Julie wanted something that made her look more professional and high-class. On the other hand, her husband reminded her that he wanted something sassy. They both had their wishes come true. Julie is stunning with a side of sass.
Her final comments
At the end of Julie’s online interview, she stated that she was interested in something different. She didn’t want to walk out of Christopher’s salon looking the same way she did before. Mission accomplished. While she was beautiful prior to the makeover, her appearance is now over the top gorgeous.
