Have you been curious about living in a tiny home, but you’re a little skeptical about making such a huge change? Why not stay in a tiny home hotel community to give it a try? Live A Little Chatt is a collection of four adorable tiny homes that people can rent for the night. One of the cutest homes on the property is the Old Blue Chair.
The Old Blue Chair Tiny House was designed by Joe, the owner of Live A Little Chatt, and his wife Erin. It was constructed by Tennessee Tiny Homes.
“Glam meets farmhouse” is how Live A Little Chatt likes to describe the Old Blue Chair Tiny House. It truly is the epitome of a charming southern retreat; it features cedar siding, as well as a beautiful handcrafted dutch door, and large deck.
The inside is modest but certainly not lacking in character.
Inside the tiny home, you’ll find farmhouse-inspired white-washed walls, a fully-functioning kitchen, bathroom with rain shower, dual lofts, and a reading nook under the stairs. Walking into the home, you’ll enter the ‘great room,’ which features a seating area and dining nook with a view up to the lofts.
The kitchen boasts plenty of counter space and a very generously-sized farmhouse sink.
The Old Blue Chair Tiny Home’s kitchen also features a gas stove and oven, refrigerator, exposed cabinets and shelves for storage, and a small breakfast nook for enjoying coffee and a quick breakfast.
Standing in the kitchen, you have a view of the adorable tiny home’s seating and dining area.
A handcrafted wood table is perfect for enjoying a small meal before relaxing on the large and comfy sofa. From this angle, you can also get a glimpse of the bathroom with barn door, the second sleeping loft, as well as the small reading nook situated underneath the stairs.
The larger of the two sleeping lofts is accessed via the staircase which hides the reading nook underneath.
Although there isn’t room to stand or have any storage in the sleeping lofts, there is still plenty of space for two people to get a restful night’s sleep. Since there isn’t any room for furniture or decor upstairs, the bedding serves as the “artwork.”
The second sleeping loft can be accessed by the wooden ladder near the bathroom’s barn door.
The second sleeping loft can also sleep two people, giving the small home a maximum capacity to sleep around five to six people when utilizing the sofa downstairs. Pretty impressive, right?
The bathroom is modest but has all the amenities you would need.
A toilet, small vanity, and generously-sized rain shower can all be found behind the sliding rustic barn door. The white-washed walls continue into this small room as well.
